OSHKOSH - UW-Stevens Point won the first set against No. 10 ranked UW-Oshkosh, 25-20, but the Titans came storming back, winning the final three sets to take a 3-1 on Wednesday evening Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference volleyball action.

The Pointers jumped out to a first set 12-10 lead and closed out the set 12-7 run to hold the Titans at bay, hanging on for a 25-20 victory.

The Titans storming back in the second set, jumping ahead 20-14, going on to the 25-17 win. Set three and four it was more of the same from the nation's No. 10 ranked team, holding the Pointers to 23 and 14 points in the final two sets.

Up next, the Pointers (8-12, 0-3 WIAC) host UW-River Falls and UW-Stout on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3-4 in their final two home matches of the regular season. UW-Oshkosh next faces UW-Superior, in Superior, on Oct. 3.
