If UW-Stevens Point head volleyball coach Stacey White had the opportunity to choose the location for her 100th career win, she probably wouldn't have changed a thing.
The Pointers' seventh-year coach earned her milestone victory on Saturday at her alma mater, UW-River Falls, with a 30-27, 30-18, 27-30, 30-25 win. The Pointers have won nine of their last 10 matches and improved to 12-5 overall and 2-0 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
It was the first time White has won on her former home court as UW-Stevens Point had lost to the Falcons on their home court eight straight times with its last win coming in the UW-River Falls tournament in 1994.
Beth Richter (Green Bay/Preble) led the Pointers with 16 kills and 10 digs.
Shelly Maus (Green Bay/Green Bay Southwest) totaled 14 kills, 10 blocks and seven digs.
Jill Wittmann (Kewaskum/Kewaskum) had 45 assists and
Amanda Mix (Brookfield/East) collected 11 digs.
