Hannah Dieringer (Spencer/Spencer) posted a 14th-place finish as the UW-Stevens Point women's cross country team finished fifth among 11 teams at the Calvin Invitational on Saturday in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Dieringer had a 5,000-meter time of 18:36 to help the Pointers compile a team total of 127 points, which was five points better than league rival and 30th-ranked UW-Oshkosh. Calvin, which is ranked second nationally, easily won the meet with 18 points and 11th-ranked Case Western Reserve (Ohio) was second.

Sara Rammer (Plymouth/Plymouth) led a tight pack of Pointers' finishers, placing 30th overall in 19:15. Allson Wolter and Kimberly Multerer (West Bend/West Bend West) were two places back, while each finishing in 19:21. Ashley Woest (Abrams/Pulaski) was close behind in 19:30 to place 39th and Erica Class was two seconds back to finish 40th.
