Anderson had six strikeouts and hit one batter for her only baserunner allowed in the 10-0 victory. UW-Stevens Point scored six runs in the second inning and added four in the third for the win.

Mandy Jellish (Kaukauna/Kaukauna) was three-for-four, while Danielle Ashbeck (Wabeno/Wabeno) was two-for-three with a two-run triple. Korryn Brooks (Stevens Point/SPASH) was also two-for-three for the Pointers.

Later in the day, the Pointers fell to Carleton 6-1 as UW-Stevens Point was limited to just four hits. Anderson drove in the Pointers' only run with a run-scoring single in the third inning.
