Shelly Maus (Green Bay/Green Bay Southwest) had kills on her first eight attempts and finished with 13 for the match as the UW-Stevens Point volleyball team stayed hot with a 30-23, 29-31, 30-27, 31-29 win over Elmhurst on Saturday in Ripon.
Maus added 12 more kills in the Pointers' second match of the day as they rolled past Ripon 30-28, 30-18, 30-16 to finish the regular season with a 24-11 record.
In the opening match
Callie Kunde (Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley) added 25 digs and 28 assists, while
Lori Marten (Pittsville/Pittsville) had 35 digs.
Pam Nora (Forest Lake, Minn./) added 11 kills against Ripon and
Jill Wittmann (Kewaskum/Kewaskum) had 19 assists.
The Pointers will host UW-River Falls in the WIAC tournament quarterfinals on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Berg Gym.
