Shelly Maus (Green Bay/Green Bay Southwest) had a pair of 15-kill performances as the UW-Stevens Point volleyball team rolled to two non-conference victories on Tuesday in Waukesha.

The Pointers opened with a three-game sweep of Carroll 30-28, 30-25, 30-20 and then defeated the University of Chicago 30-22, 30-26, 30-23 at the Carroll College quadrangular. UW-Stevens Point improved to 8-4 overall with the victories.

Maus had just one hitting error in the win over Carroll, while Bethany Richter added 10 kills with no errors in 13 attempts. Callie Kunde (Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley) totaled 13 kills, 14 digs and four aces, while Jill Wittmann (Kewaskum/Kewaskum) delivered 16 assists.

Kunde added 11 kills and Wittmann had 11 digs and 19 assists against Chicago. Lori Marten (Pittsville/Pittsville) collected 14 digs.
