UW-Stevens Point fell to 1-4 for the season after dropping all nine matches in a women's tennis dual loss at UW-Whitewater on Tuesday.

Cathy Thornburg and Emily Bouche (Dane/Sauk Prairie) had the top performance for the Pointers, battling to a 9-7 loss at No. 1 doubles. Sarah O'Melia (Rhinelander/Rhinelander) won five games in her No. 5 singles match, suffering a 6-3, 6-2 loss for the Pointers' top performance.

UW-Stevens Point is now 0-2 in conference play and hosts UW-Oshkosh and UW-River Falls in a triangular on Saturday at 9 a.m.
