Kaylee Weise (Brookfield/East) had two goals and one assist to lead the UW-Stevens Point women's soccer team in a 5-0 win on Saturday at UW-Superior.
Weise joined Anna Van Stippen (Kimberly/Kimberly) and Amanda Prawat (Oregon/Oregon) with first half goals as the Pointers built a 3-0 halftime advantage. She also scored along with Jennisa Koch (Waupaca/Waupaca) in the second half as the Pointers improved to 7-2-2 overall and 3-1-1 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
The Pointers' defense posted its fourth shutout of the year with Meredith DeCaluwe (Naperville, IL/Central) playing the first half and stopping the Yellowjackets' only two shots on goal. UW-Stevens Point held a 23-3 advantage in shots for the match.
Prawat added two assists and Katie Waterman (Oregon/Oregon) also had an assist for the Pointers.
