The UW-Stevens Point women's cross country team took fourth place at the Ripon Invitational on Saturday morning with a combined time of 2:02:19.   Pacing the Pointers was Freshman Heather Sheets (Cedarburg/Cedarburg) who placed sixth out of 64 runners with a time of 22:12.  She was the only Pointer to place in the top ten.

UW-Oshkosh senior Jenny Melville  took home top medalists honors with a time of 21:03.  UW-Oshkosh took home the team title by 35 seconds over Carroll College.   Ripon finished third.
