Hannah Dieringer (Spencer/Spencer) placed 14th overall as the UW-Stevens Point women's cross country team was sixth of 16 teams at Saturday's UW-Oshkosh Invitational.
Dieringer posted a 6,000-meter time of 22:13 for the high finish. A pack of four UW-Stevens Point runners came in one minute later in four straight places.
Allison Wolter (Kaukauna/Kaukauna) was 36th overall in 22:19. Erica Claas and
Ashley Woest (Abrams/Pulaski) each followed at 22:22 and Kim Multerer was 39th overall in 22:23. The Pointers totaled 164 team points with third-ranked Washington (Mo.) taking the team title with 53 points. The meet featured four nationally-ranked squads.
