The UW-Stevens Point women's volleyball team took fourth of eight teams at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational this weekend. Five of the eight teams came into the weekend ranked in the nation.

On Friday, the Pointers defeated Milwaukee School of Engineering 30-21, 30-26, 29-31, 22-30, 15-11 for a 3-2 victory and were upended by UW-Oshkosh 30-27, 30-24, 30-26 for a 3-0 defeat.

On Saturday the Pointers went 0-1 losing to Carthage College 30-21, 30-15, 30-12.

UW-Stevens Point Senior Shelly Maus (Green Bay/Green Bay Southwest) was named to the All-tournament team.
