UW-Stevens Point was limited to 25 kills for the match and hit .035 as the Pointers were swept in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference volleyball contest at UW-Platteville on Wednesday.

The Pioneers posted a 30-24, 30-23, 30-14 victory to drop UW-Stevens Point to 14-8 overall and 3-3 in the WIAC. UW-Platteville is now 19-7 overall and 3-3 in the WIAC.

Beth Richter (Green Bay/Preble) and Gina Guell (Waupun/Waupun) combined for 16 of the team's 25 kills with eight apiece. Kelsea Mulhern (Waunakee/Waunakee) totaled 22 assists and Shelly Maus (Green Bay/Green Bay Southwest) had a team-high 11 digs.

UW-Platteville had 47 kills and hit .217 for the match, getting a match-high 11 kills from Emily Walker. Kelly Laschinger distributed 35 assists.
