Hjorth finished as the runner-up at 157 pounds to pace UW-Stevens Point at the 2014 Pointer Open Wrestling Tournament on Saturday. The freshman posted victories over Mark Choinski, Pierce Holtfreter of Concordia (Wis.) and Wheaton’s returning All-American Mark Savenok, who is currently ranked fifth in the nation, before falling in the title match to UW-Madison’s Jared Scharenbrock.
