Barrett was vital to the Pointers’ success while having a breakout week offensively and earned WIAC Player of the Week honors. In Tuesday’s win over North Central, Barrett scored a career-high 21 points and led all players in scoring in the game. She added eight rebounds against the Cardinals. Then on Friday, she had her second-straight 20 point game, again leading UWSP in scoring in a win over Rochester College. She capped her week with 10 points against No. 7 Hope College, going a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line. Over the three games, Barrett poured in 51 points, went 17-for-18 at the line, pulled down 21 rebounds, had three steals and blocked three shots. She shot .500 from the field and leads the WIAC in field goal percentage this season at .581.
