Brunkhorst led the UW-Stevens Point offense as the No. 12-ranked Pointers topped two top-25 teams at the UW-Eau Claire Fall Classic on Saturday. The junior tallied 22 kills in a five-set comeback win over No. 15 Trinity (Tex.) after having 18 in a four-set victory over Millikin earlier that evening. The 22 kills against Trinity (Tex.) were tied for Brunkhorst’s second-highest total of the season.
