Jacobson absolutely punished the ball on opening weekend for the Pointers.  She hit .650 over the six-game opening weekend at the Finlandia Dome Classic.  On each of the first two days, she went a combined 6-for-7, including a 3-for-3 game against UW-Superior on Friday and a 4-for-4 (all doubles) performance versus Marian on Saturday.  Following the third game of the weekend, her season batting average was a blistering .909.  The sophomore hit seven doubles and a triple among her 13 base knocks on the week.  Jacobson also had eight RBI, including a career-high five against Marian in the win.
