Ball competed in the shot put, hammer throw, javelin and discus this weekend at the Rex Foster Invitational at UW-Whitewater on Sunday, as UW-Stevens Point posted a third-place team finish. The sophomore set a new personal record in the shot by one foot with a throw of 11.79 meters (38’8”) and finished ninth place. Ball also set new personal records in the discus (33.40 m, 109’7”) and javelin (28.51 m, 93’6”) with the javelin toss good for third place.
