In windy and rainy conditions Jared Jenkins, senior (Milwaukee, Wis., / Rufus King) punted four times for 190 yards averaging 47.5 yards per punt.  Although Jenkins had a long punt of 65 yards his accuracy was key in forcing UW-La Crosse to have an average starting point of inside their 30 yard line.  Three of Jenkins's punts landed inside the Eagle’s ten yard line.

On the offensive side of the ball Jenkins had game highs in total yards gained, receiving yards and touchdowns.  Midway through the third quarter Jenkins caught a 23 yard pass and bowled into the end zone for his first touchdown of the game.  With 9:19 remaining in the fourth quarter Jenkins found the end zone again this time from five yards out to seal the Pointer win.  Jenkins finished with seven receptions for 177 yards and two touchdowns.
