Erickson went 2-0 with a 0.87 ERA in three appearances, two starts, as No. 13 UW-Stevens Point went 7-3 on its season-opening 10-game trip to Florida. On his collegiate debut, the freshman tossed 5.0 innings, allowing just an unearned run, in a 7-1 victory over Anderson on March 14. In his other start, he gave up just one earned run in 4.1 innings against St. Olaf on March 20. For the trip, Erickson held opposing hitters to a .189 average and seven hits in 10.1 innings of work.
