Riddell pitched lights out for the Pointers in their opening weekend as she started out her college career with a 5-0 record on the mound. In 26.2 innings of work the freshman allowed just eight earned runs, two walks, and struck out 24 batters. She held her opponents to a batting average of .245 and posted a weekend ERA of 2.10. Against Carroll College the freshmen posted 10 strikeout and allowed no earned runs in the Pointers 8-2 victory.
