University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

For the second consecutive week Allie Fortier, sophomore (Rhinelander, Wis./Rhinelander), was named the UWSP Athlete of the Week in Women’s Tennis Singles.  Fortier was the lone winner for the Pointers against nationally ranked UW-Eau Claire.  Fortier dropped her opening set 2-6 but came storming back to take the next two sets (6-4, 7-5) and record her second straight win and fourth of the season.
