Playing in just his second collegiate game running back Michael Griffin, sophomore, (Iola, Wis./Iola-Scandinavia), had the best day for a Pointer running back this season and his best career day as a Pointer. Griffin rushed for over 100 yards with a total of 138 yards on only 20 carries. All of Griffin’s runs netted positive yardage with his long run being 26 yards. With Griffin carrying the ball the Pointers were able to hold the ball for over half the game and over ten minutes in the fourth quarter alone.
