University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Matt Lunder, senior (Waunakee, Wis./Waunakee), had six tackles in a Pointer victory over Missouri S&T.  Lunder was in the Missouri S&T backfield all day and recorded two sacks for losses of 13 yards along with six quarterback hits.  With Lunder anchoring a stout Pointer defense, the Miners were able to rush for only 22 yards on 26 attempts and were forced into five turnovers.  For the season Lunder leads the Pointers in sacks, tackles for loss and quarterback hits.
