Berlin was named the Upper Midwest Regional Outstanding Wrestler after sweeping his matches to win at 133 at the NCAA Midwest Regional at Eau Claire. He is the lone UW-Stevens Point wrestler to advance to the NCAA Championships. Berlin opened his day on Saturday with a 4-3 decision win to secure his place at nationals. Then in the title match of the 133 bracket, he capped a 4-0 weekend with an 11-2 major decision.

Brady Wagner, Men's BasketballÂ
Wagner posted a career-high 20 points in the WIAC Tournament quarterfinals (presented by Culver's) at UW-La Crosse. Wagner was red-hot from behind the arc making six of his seven shots from long range.
David Hill, Men's Hockey
Hill scored three goals for the Pointers in their Semifinals series against UW-Superior this weekend. On Friday, Hill scored a goal later in the third period, to put the Pointers up by two. On Saturday,  Hill scored the final two goals in the Pointers win, sending them to their eighth-consective WIAC Tournament. Â
