Pitcher Scott Williams, senior (Baraboo, Wis., / Baraboo), continued his dominance over the past week.  Facing UW-Oshkosh, Williams started strong not allowing a hit through the first five innings.  Over eight innings Williams only faced two batters over the minimum and earned his seventh win of the season, scattering five hits, only allowing one earned run and striking-out five.  At UW-Platteville, Williams etched his name in the Pointer record book, twice.  Williams pitched seven innings striking-out 12 while moving to third on UWSP’s all time strikeout list.  Williams also earned his eight victory of the season and 24^th as a Pointer which places him second in school history in career wins.  On the season Williams is 8-2 with 74 strike-outs and has reached double digit strike-outs in three of his last four games.
