Morgan Harwood (Softball)
Harwood pitched her second no-hitter of the season and fourth of her career last week at The Spring Games. For the week, she pitched 24.0 innings with a 0.88 ERA and 39 strikeouts. She earned the save in the opener with 1.1perfect frames striking out all four batters against Fredonia. In the second game on Monday, she earned the win with 4.0 innings with three strikeouts and one hit allowed versus Buffalo State. She struck out two against No. 4 Rowan on Tuesday and had three more strikeouts against Plymouth State. On Thursday, she struck out five over 4.0 innings against Ramapo before fanning eight against Simpson in 4.1 hitless frames. Friday, she capped the week with 6.2 innings of a no-hitter while striking out 14 against the University of New England.

Hailee Thompson (Softball)
Thompson hit .458 with seven RBI and nine runs scored over UWSP’s eight games at The Spring Games. She started the week with two hits and two runs scored against Fredonia. Later on Monday, she belted a home run and had five RBI versus Buffalo State. She had two more hits and drove in two on Tuesday against Plymouth State. She hit safely in both games on Thursday against Ramapo and Simpson. On Friday, Thompson had two more hits, scored twice and drew two walks versus UNE. In the week’s finale, she had another hit, scored two runs and stole two bases versus Keuka.
