Benoy won his No. 1 singles match by a 7-6 (2), 7-5 final, one of UWSP's tiebreak wins, in the conference opener at UW-Eau Claire on Saturday.

Wintheiser struck out a career-high nine in 6.0 innings at UW-Platteville on Sunday. He shut out the Pioneers on three hits to pick up his first win of the season.

Nick Argersinger (Baseball)
Argersinger hit .529 in UWSP’s weekend series at UW-Platteville last weekend, hitting safely in all four games to extend his hitting streak to nine games. In the opening game of the series, he went 3-for-3 with three RBI and drew two walks. In Sunday’s game one, he had four hits, drove in a run and scored twice. In both game twos of the weekend, he hit a double and scored in both games.
Jacob McConnell (Men's Field)
McConnell won the hammer throw with a toss of 54.96 meters at the Rex Foster Invite on Friday. He earned a second-place ranking in the conference with that mark.

Nosko took first in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:54.17 at the Rex Foster Invite on Friday. He is ranked second in the conference in the 800-meter run after recording that mark.
