Michelle Jones, sophomore, (Madison, Wis., / La Follette), pitched two extra inning complete games this week.  Facing nationally ranked UW-Whitewater Jones pitched 8 innings allowing only one earned run and scattering five hits.  In the second game of a doubleheader against UW-Superior Jones was a rock in a pivotal conference game.  Jones faced 40 batters striking out six in the thrilling 5-4 Pointer win.  Jones leads the Pointers in wins (6), innings pitched (58), complete games (5) and is tied for the lead in strikeouts (22).
