In a scoreless game UWSP defender Lauryn Semling, junior (Plover, Wis., / SPASH), made a crucial save to keep St. Thomas of the board.  Midway through the first half Semling slid behind the UWSP goalkeeper to clear the ball as it was about to roll into the Pointer net.  Semling’s save kept the game scoreless and led to a Pointer overtime win.  The Semling led Pointer defense also recorded their tenth shut-out of the season and second overtime victory.
