Murphy led the Pointers with a fifth-place finish in the 100-runner field at the Phoenix Open on Friday. His time of 24:54.6 was bested only by a quartet of DI runners.

Brycen Cashin (Football)
Cashin scored once on the ground, a 69-yard touchdown, and again with a 61-yard receiving touchdown at Albion on Saturday. He led all players in rushing yards with 121 in the game. He also racked up a team-high 87 receiving yards.
Devin Wilkerson (Men's Soccer)
Wilkerson notched a pair of game-winners, the first two in UWSP program history. He scored the first goal, the eventual game-winner, in the Pointers’ first-ever program victory on Saturday at Lakeland. On Sunday, he scored the only goal in the 1-0 win over CUW, the first home win in school history. He is tied for the WIAC lead with two GWG this season.
Jacob Havlik (Men's Soccer)
Havlik helped the Pointers go unbeaten and earn a pair of shutout wins, the first in program history. In Tuesday’s draw against Edgewood, he had four saves and allowed his only goal of the week. On Saturday, he played 85 minutes of the shutout win with 8 saves at Lakeland before leaving with an injury. He returned on Sunday to shut out CUW with two saves. For the week, he went 2-0-1 with 14 saves with 1 goal allowed in 174:12 of action.
Josh Brogren (Men's Golf)
Brogren finished tied for 15th after rounds of 75 (+3) and 78 (+6) on Sunday. Helping lead the team to an 11th place finish at the Minnesota Golf Classic.
