Zygowski went 4-0 and posted a miniscule 0.49 ERA in five appearances over 14.1 innings pitched last week at The Spring Games. She struck out eight in 4.2 innings of relief to earn the win over Western New England on Monday. She notched her second win over the day with 3.0 scoreless frames against Manchester. Zygowski won again on Tuesday with 2.0 innings against Amherst. On Thursday, she struck out six and didn’t allow a run as UWSP rallied in the seventh to beat William Paterson. She struck out six in the win over WP. She capped the week with a hitless, scoreless frame in the run-rule win over No. 14 Tufts.

Sara Traxel (Softball)
Traxel hit safely in all six games to lead the Pointers to a 6-0 week at The Spring Games. She hit .500 with four of her 10 hits going for extra-bases. She had two hits, a run scored and a stolen base in each game Monday against Western New England and Manchester. On Tuesday, she drew two walks, stole two bases and had a hit versus Amherst. She added two more hits and drove in two runs in the nightcap versus Bates. Against William Paterson on Thursday, Traxel had one hit and stole a base. Then in the week’s finale, she had two hits and scored a run in a win over No. 14 Tufts. For the week, Traxel had five runs scored, five stolen bases and four RBI.
Marissa Van Dyke (Lacrosse)
Van Dyke scored her first career double-hat trick in a closely contested bout with Augsburg. Van Dyke finished with seven points, six goals, one assist and one groundball. Van Dyke tallied her sixth goal at the 4:24 mark in the third which gave the Pointers a 9-7 lead in their best third quarter of the season.
