Cibrario hit .625 with five RBI and five stolen bases to lead UW-Stevens Point to a 4-0 start. She hit safely in all four games and drove in at least a run in each game. She went 1-for-2 with an RBI in a 7-1 win over Edgewood College (Wis.) to begin the season. In game two, she also went 1-for-2 with two RBI and a run scored against Augustana College (Ill.) with a stolen base. On Feb. 23, she was 2-for-2 with three steals, an RBI and run scored against Knox College (Ill.). In the finale, she had one of UW-Stevens Point’s three hits and drove in a run with another stolen base in a 2-1 win over Loras College (Iowa).

Ashley Zygowski (Softball)
Zygowski earned a win and nailed down two saves in UW-Stevens Point’s 4-0 week at the Blue Angel Invitational in Peoria, Ill. She tossed 3.0 scoreless innings with six strikeouts to earn the save against Edgewood College (Wis.). She returned in the nightcap with 3.1 IP with four more strikeouts and notched the win against Augustana College (Ill.). In the finale of the weekend, she again tossed 3.0 frames to earn another save with three strikeouts in a 2-1 win over Loras College (Iowa). She totaled 13 strikeouts with a 1.50 ERA and just six hits allowed over 9.1 innings of work.

Emily Griege (Hockey)
Freshman goaltender Emily Griege made 70 saves for the UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team against No. 1 UW-River Falls in the WIAC Tournament semifinals game one (presented by Culver's). Griege's 70 saves are the most by a single goaltender in WIAC history. Northland's Soliel Archambeault and Corrin Hanson combined for 76 saves in a game versus UWRF on Jan. 28, 2022.

Rachel Krouse (Track & Field)
Krouse earned two top-five finishes at the WIAC Championships over the weekend. On Friday, she highlighted the UWSP women with a second-place finish in the 5000-meter run with a time of 17:18.32. On Saturday, Krouse continued her productive weekend with a fourth-place finish in the 3000-meter run with a time of 10:03.44.

Chloe Leithold (Tennis)
Leithold earned two wins against Northwestern (Minn.) on Saturday (Feb. 24). She won her No. 3 singles match in super-breaker fashion. After dropping the first set, 6-4, she won the second set, 6-2. In the super-breaker, she prevailed by a 10-6 final.

Abby Nelson (Wrestling)
Nelson placed second in the 116 bracket at NCWWC Regionals to earn a trip to NCWWC Championships. She picked up two wins, one by fall and one by decision.
