Rennhack won the shot put at the Pointer Alumni meet with a new personal best of 15.69 meters. That is currently the best mark in the conference and 16th nationally.

Noah Finstrom (Hockey)
Finstrom scored three goals over UWSP’s home weekend, the first home games of 2024. In Friday’s win over Concordia (Minn.), he had two of UWSP’s five goals in the third period, the highest scoring period of the season for the Pointers. It was the fourth game this season that Finstrom scored multiple goals. He scored again on Saturday accounting for UWSP’s goal in a 1-1 tie with Saint John’s.
Josiah Butler (Basketball)
Butler averaged 18.0 points per game in UWSP’s two league games last week. On Wednesday, he led the Pointers with 24 points in a win over No. 9 UWW, the first time UWSP scored 100 points since 2011. He was in double figures again on Saturday with 12 points at UW-Eau Claire. He shot .600 (12-20) from the field for the week, went 4-for-7 from three-point range and made 8-of-11 free throws.
Ryan Rininger (Track & Field)
Rininger won the 3000 at the Pointer Alumni meet with a new personal best of 8:49.41, good for sixth in the conference.
