University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Cashin scored two touchdowns in UWSP’s conference opener against UW-Eau Claire on Saturday. He caught a 21-yard pass for a touchdown in the first quarter to tie the game at 7-7. Then in the second quarter, he found the end zone on the ground with a 12-yard scamper. He led all players with 19 rushing attempts and caught three passes in the game.

DeJong led the Pointers in tackles on Saturday in the conference opener against UW-Eau Claire. Eight of his nine tackles were solo takedowns. He also had one of the Pointers’ two sacks in the game. DeJong also had a pass breakup.

Luca Hettstedt (Men's Tennis)
Hettstedt won his fourth-round match in the ITA Regionals Midwest Open Singles C bracket. His 6-2, 7-5 win over an opponent from Central moved Hettstedt into the quarterfinals. There, he fell, 6-2, 3-0 before retiring to a foe from St. Olaf.
