Tomczak hit .462 with five RBI in UWSP’s sweep of UW-Oshkosh to clinch the outright WIAC regular season title over the weekend. He went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored, including a home run in Friday’s opener. He added two more RBI on a double and a walk in game two. On Saturday, Tomczak had two more hits, two walks, two stolen bases and scored a run. He led the team with a .563 on-base percentage for the week.

Paulsen earned his fifth-straight win in as many starts, all in league starts, to move to 6-0 on the year in Saturday’s WIAC Championship clinching victory over UW-Oshkosh. He went 7.0 with five strikeouts and gave up just one run. He scattered six hits and walked just one.
