University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

In the first 5000-meter race of her career freshman Rachel Krouse set the bar pretty high for future performances.  She not only won the race with a time of 17:16.22, but she also broke a 20 year old school record. Her race was the fastest time in the WIAC since 2019, is the fastest freshman in Division III by 19 seconds and is ranked 11^th in the country.

Gabby Gawlitta, Women's Basketball
Gawlitta registered her second double-double of the season to lead the Pointers past No. 18 UWEC on Saturday. She obliterated her season -high with 17 points in the win and added 14 rebounds, tying her season high. Gawlitta went 7-for-10 from the floor and made all three free-throw attempts. She also had seven points and eight rebounds on Wednesday at UW-Oshkosh.
 

Dani Heitsman, Women's Hockey
Heitsman recorded her third career two-goal game in Saturday’s win at UW-Superior, one of which was the game-winning goal.  She also had an assist in Friday’s game against the Yellowjackets. With points in both games, she now has a four-game point streak.
