University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Krouse was the first Pointer to cross the line in seventh place with a time of 22:23.26 at the NCAA Midwest Regional this weekend. After her performance on Saturday, Krouse was named a women's individual qualifier for Saturday's NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.  She becomes the first UW-Stevens Point women's runner to qualify since Bailey Wolf ran at the NCAA Championships in 2017.

Alexa Thomson, Women's Basketball
Thomson took full advantage of her first career start by posting a game-high 15 points in UWSP’s win over Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday.  She shot 6-for-10 from the field, including two makes from beyond the arc.  She added five rebounds, an assist and two steals in the win.  On Friday, she had eight points, six boards and a steal versus Benedictine.  On Tuesday in the home-opener victory over St. Norbert, Thomson was in double figures with 13 points and pulled in a season-high eight rebounds.

Tabitha Breitrick, Women's Wrestling
Breitrick went 5-0 to win the 191 bracket.  She had two wins by fall, a tech fall and two decision wins.  In the title match, she earned an 8-1 decision victory.
