Allemann won the steeplechase at the UWW Drake Alternative meet in a lifetime personal best of 11:13.48, 30 seconds better than her previous lifetime best.  She is currently ranked #2 in the WIAC and #11 nationally.

Bree Downie, Golf
Downie recorded her third-straight top-10 finish at Saturday’s UWW Spring Fling.  She tied for sixth with a round of 79.  It is the first time a UWSP golfer has had three consecutive top-10 finishes at an event since Mary Welch in 2011.
 

Maddie Candre, Softball
Candre hit .500 with three home runs and 11 RBI over UWSP’s six games last week.  She had multiple hits in three games, including a career-high tying four hits in UWSP’s first win over UWEC since 2011.  Her first multi-hit game came on Tuesday versus UWW with two RBI.  On Thursday, she had a hit and an RBI in each game against UWO while drawing three bases on balls.  On Saturday against UWEC, her bat came alive with three home runs, seven RBI, five runs scored and she drew two walks.  For the week, she slugged 1.000 and had an on-base of .600.
 

Larkin Hoepner, Women's Track and Field
Hoepner had a day at the UWW Drake Alternative meet.  She threw a season’s best in both the discus and shot put.  She won the discus with a throw of 43.44 meters good for 3^rd in the WIAC and 8^th nationally while also throwing the shot 13.69 meters earning 4^th place, and moving her to 5^th in the WIAC and 11^th nationally.
