Roo scored 2:20 into overtime and secured a 2-1 victory over UW-Eau Claire in the semifinal game on Wednesday, to advance the Pointers to the WIAC Championship game. On Friday, he scored one of the two Pointer's goals in the WIAC Championship against UW-Superior. Roo also picked up an assist in Monday's WIAC Championship first round game against Northland.
