Other Nominees:
Carter Roo, Men's Hockey
Roo recorded his first career hat trick with UWSP’s first three goals of a 2-0-0 weekend to wrap up non-conference play. His first goal came in the first period against Hamline and he added two more in the second period to complete the hat trick. The three goals were his only three shots of the game. Roo’s hat trick sparked UWSP to a 5-2 win over Hamline on Friday and a 3-1 win over No. 5 Augsburg on Saturday.
Brandon Spray, Men's Basketball
Spray averaged 14.5 points per game in last week’s pair of league games. He was one point shy of a double-double on Wednesday with nine points and 10 rebounds in a win over UW-Whitewater.  He also tied his career-high with three blocks against the Warhawks. Then on Saturday, he led all players with 20 points in the game at UW-La Crosse.
