Weinzetl went 4-0 at 165 at the Adrian Duals to help the Pointers win all four duals on the day.  He needed just 2:29 to pin his opponent in UWSP’s dual versus Penn State Behrend.  Against #12 Alma, he earned a 15-3 major decision as the Pointers prevailed 24-19.  He won a 12-0 major decision versus host Adrian.  Finally, he won by fall in 1:03 against Fontbonne.

Blake Ehrke, Men's Basketball

Ehrke recorded his first career double-double in UWSP’s season-opening win over St. Olaf last Wednesday.  He had career highs of 18 points and 15 rebounds in the win.  He also dished out four assists and snagged four steals.

Drew McLean, Men's Hockey

McLean was instrumental at both ends of the ice in a pair of road wins for UWSP over the weekend.  He had three assists on the weekend and helped UWSP’s defense to both wins. In Friday’s win at Saint John’s, he had assists on two of the Pointers four goals in the second period that put UWSP ahead for good in the win.  On Saturday, he added another assist on the first goal of the game and helped UWSP’s defense hold Bethel to just a single goal in a 5-1 win.  McLean now leads the Pointers with six assists on the year, tied for the league lead.
