Adams was voted MVP of the UChicago Gargoyle Classic. She helped the Pointers upset No. 9 and host University of Chicago in straight sets. She recorded 40 assists and 12 digs for her first double-double of the weekend against the Maroons. On Saturday, she again had a double-double with 28 assists and 16 digs against UT Dallas.

Emma Peterson, Volleyball
Peterson registered double-digit digs in all three matches for the Pointers on opening weekend. She had a season-best 22 digs in the Pointers win over No. 9 University of Chicago.
Mikayla Brown, Soccer
Brown scored her first collegiate goal on Sunday at Marian, the eventual game-winner in the 47th minute. She added a second tally in the 90th minute as the Pointers won, 2-0.
Jenna Koepp, Tennis
Koepp defeated UW-Stout’s No. 1 singles player on August 31st in Menomonie. Koepp was down 5-2 in the second set and battled back to win the match in a tiebreak with scores of 6-3, 7-6 (2).
Barbra Covek, Tennis
Covek and James went undefeated as a No. 2 double’s duo with wins over St. Norbert, Edgewood, and UW-Stout. The duo won 8-3 over St. Norbert, 8-4 against Edgewood, and 8-5 against UW-Stout.
