Almonte returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown to get UWSP on the board in the second quarter at UW-La Crosse on Saturday.  His return is the third-longest in school history (two 99-yard returns).  Almonte is the first WIAC player to return a kickoff for a touchdown this season.
