Gehl amassed five double-doubles over the five matches last week, leading UWSP to a 4-1 record. Her week consisted of 112 kills, 72 digs, 18 blocks and seven aces over 17 sets. In the first match of the week, she hit .500 with 21 kills in a straight-set victory over Lakeland.  On Friday, she had 21 more kills while hitting .447 in a three-set win over Saint Mary’s. In Friday’s nightcap against Concordia (Wis.), she dropped a career-best 35 kills over four sets. She capped the week with 11 kills against Carroll and 24 against Bethel on Saturday. Her hitting percentage for the week was .323 with an average of 6.59 kills per set.

Bailey Ryan: Ryan placed fourth at Viterbo Invitational on Sunday with a score of 89. It was Ryan’s highest career placing at an event, besting her fifth-place finish at the UWSP Spring Invite on 4/29/17.
Lexi Pawlowski: Pawlowski kept her unbeaten record intact with a 1-0-1 record over two matches last week. On Saturday, she made three saves to earn a draw with visiting Carthage. On Sunday, she made five saves in an overtime victory over Marian.
Kourtnee Hass: Hass scored both goals in a 2-1 double-overtime win over Marian on Sunday. Her first goal of the match, and the season, put UWSP ahead, 1-0, in the 27th minute. She won a scramble in the box in the 102nd minute to put home the game-winner.
Sam Shafer: Shafer blocked a Wabash punt on the first possession of the game, giving the Pointers the ball inside WC territory. UWSP converted the momentum of the blocked punt into a field goal and a 3-0 lead early.
