Erickson had a solid outing in his season debut tossing 5.0 innings in the season opener against St. Thomas at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn., on Tuesday.  He scattered four hits and struck out two while giving up just one earned run.  After back-to-back hits to begin the fifth, Erickson escaped a bases-loaded no-out jam by limiting the damage to just a single run.  He left the game with a 2-1 lead, in line for the victory.
