Garrett Suter, senior, (Madison Wis., / Oregon) led the Pointers to a pair of wins to start 2011.  Hosting Concordia-Moorhead Suter assisted on the third Pointer goal of the game midway through the second period.  At the beginning of the third period Suter tallied his second assist of the night as the Pointers pulled away from the Cobbers en route to a 6-2 win.  Facing St. John’s Suter again assisted on UWSP’s third goal this time at the 13:09 mark of the second period.  Suter finished the weekend with a +6 rating and is currently fourth on the team with six points.
