Richards recorded the second-best long jump in the country this season, winning the event with a jump of 7.21 meters (23’ 8”) at the Leonard “Squig” Converse Invitational at UW-Whitewater on Friday. The jump was the second-longest of Richards’ career and is 0.75” behind the best jump in Division III this season. The 11th-ranked Pointers finished fourth in the team standings behind three other ranked teams.
