The senior was named to the Carthage Invitational All-Tournament Team after averaging 3.50 kills per set with an attack percentage of .312 in four matches against ranked teams. She had a season-high 20 kills and hit over .400 in matches against No. 13 University of Chicago and No. 14 Elmhurst and had at least 11 kills in the other two matches at the tournament. In the final match of the tournament, Brunkhorst moved into fourth place in program history in kills (1,161).
