Kelly Romano is in her 18th year as a member of the UWSP athletics staff; she currently serves as the program’s executive assistant and oversees several key areas for the athletics department. Specifically, Romano handles all day-to-day operational and budget matters, coordinates team/administrative travel and transportation, assists with game management and student payroll, and monitors purchasing and procurement for all varsity sports.
She is a key member of the UWSP athletics leadership team and also assists with contracts, scheduling and spirit groups.
Romano, a Scandinavia, Wis., native, attended UWSP and earned her undergraduate degree in sociology (2006). She and her husband, Tony, also a UWSP alum, currently reside in Stevens Point and have two daughters, Charley and Reese.
