Biography

2023-24: Posted a 5-9 record for the season…Began the season with three wins, two by decision and one by fall, at the Pointers Open (Nov. 4)…Earned a win by sudden victory in the semifinals at the UD Invite (Feb. 3).

2022-23: Finished the season with a 2-15 record with all matches at 149…Both wins came by fall, against Carthage (Jan. 19) and Nebraska Wesleyan (Feb. 4).
 
2021-22: Went 0-4 on the year with matches at 141 and 149.
 
2020-21: Finished the season with a 1-1 record…Earned first collegiate win with a tech fall (18-2) against UW-Platteville (Feb. 9).
 
High School: Four-time letterwinner…Was conference runner-up in 2020 as a senior…Racked up more than 100 career wins…Placed first at the Ken Heine Blackshirt Invitational.
 
Personal: Computer science major…Parents Nargis Umarova and Ruslan Abbasov…Sister Diana…AVID high honor roll…Two-time scholar-athlete award recipient at WSHS.
